European Sales Director
Our global IT client have a unique software proposition that they sell successfully around the world. Due to the sensitive nature of the position and company we can’t share too many details here.
Based in their central London office, you will be the European Sales Director who will guide and grow the existing sales team. You will work in conjunction with the overseas Senior Management to build on the success of the UK operations, which oversees Europe and the Middle East.
As the European Sales Director, you will be responsible for new client acquisition, existing client retention and maximising client revenue for the company. You will understand your clients’ businesses intimately, and provide them software solutions that add value and embed your products into their organisations.
International travel will be a significant part of this role, so you’d need to be happy spending a few weeks a year away with work for training and management meetings. Possibly travelling at short notice too.
The sales team and office generally will be your responsibility. All are fairly autonomous and a good- natured bunch. Aside from the business development strategies outlined above, you’ll have a pastoral duty to your team. You’ll guide, nurture, motivate and direct them.
You will hail from a similar role in the software (especially SAAS) world and have a track record in B2B sales and operations - at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
It is imperative that you’re energetic, focussed and passionate about success and being the number one. You’ll be able to show where you’ve mentored and motivated a B2B sales team. You’ll be driven by your own desire to product results and exceed expectations.
