Do you have a strong background in Payroll Administration and want to work for a global company? Reed Accountancy are exclusively recruiting for a 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract to offer support to the vibrant and focused Payroll team as they begin to work on a new systems project. 

You would be joining a well established team in a busy manufacturing environment and this is a great opportunity for a Payroller who has a focused attitude to their work alongside knowledge of the most up to date Payroll Legislation. 

My Client would be willing to look at part time hours of 32.5 over Monday-Friday also.

If successful, you would be responsible in providing an effective and efficient Payroll service directly alongside the Payroll Manager, ensuring all employees are paid on time and accurately. The detail is as follows:

- Prepare and produce payrolls for weekly and 4 weekly paid employees
- To administer other payroll related functions i.e BUPA, pay reviews, social club, childcare voucher scheme, cycle to work scheme and SMART PAY
- Administer new pension joiners and leavers under the Auto-Enrolment Legislation and be able to submit data to the pension provider
- Ensure all statutory reporting is completed
- Ensure all data on manual, spreadsheets and computerised systems is up to date
- To ensure all payroll changes occur with correct authorisations, accurately and timely
- To ensure all payroll departments files and records are maintained on a weekly basis
- Creation and posting of journals for weekly and 4 weekly payroll and the completion of reconciliations on a weekly basis
- Able to complete labour reports for production and engineering
- Able to provide accounts with any requested details
- Assist with payroll year end including P14/P60's, P11D's and PSA's
- Able to make sure all of the timesheets are correctly completed and approved within a timescale
- Provide training to new and existing employees
- Maintainence of the HR/Payroll and T&A Systems
- Provide effective support for the Payroll Manager
- A discreet attitude to all work and dealings with employees and you must maintain strict confidentiality in all matters.

- Strong academic background -  a relevant qualifiation would be desirable

- Ability to interact and communicate with managers, employees and external contacts
