C Literate - Outlook, Word, Excel, and bespoke software packages, customer/supplier extranet systems, Drop Box, Google Documents etc.

Excellent organisation skills.

Working under your own initiative and self-motivation is a must to be successful in this role.

Main Duties

Note: this role is 50% office based and 50% field-based

You will be generating and responding to sales enquiries for our extensive range products. Customer experience is paramount and every opportunity must be maximised to drive sales.

Making customer visits, telesales calls and follow-up calls will be the core tasks; in order to build relationships with existing and new customers, and create sales opportunities.

You will champion their 'customer first mentality, striving to ensure that not only all customers leave satisfied but also that business gains can be made.

To always be promoting the company brand internally and externally.

This will be a target driven role and KPIs will be agreed on a monthly basis.

To have excellent product knowledge, including new lines, discontinued lines, special offers and promotions, product specifications etc.

To assist the Office Manager and supply chain team with new product development and management of sample products by providing feedback from customers and for our mood board.

To ensure that customers are aware of new lines, special offers and promotions using our regular marketing campaigns (including social media, mail chimp, personal emails etc.) and using every opportunity in emails and conversations with customers to promote products

To assist with preparations for and attending of industry exhibitions (in December and July) (Requirement to work Sundays and long days during these periods).

To assist Office Manager in developing Showroom Events and hospitality.
