Business Centre Manager

New position to join a new business centre in the heart of Bath.

Reporting the Operations Director we are looking for someone with the energy, drive and professionalism to meet the high expectations and standards required in this busy role.

The role is varied to include the following:

Facility/Office Management:

  • Ensuring risk assessments are kept up to date
  • Ensuring fire alarms and equipment are tested
  • Compliance with Health & Safety procedures
  • Liaising with cleaning staff
  • Responsibility for ensuring all facilities are maintained
  • Organising regular electrical servicing


  • Liaising with commercial property agents and web brokers to keep a pipeline of enquiries
  • Ensuring processes and timescales are observed for following up enquiries - update of database
  • Promoting services amongst external clients
  • Maintain regular mail shots to various parties including commercial agents and new businesses.

Staff Management:

  • Accounting for the recruitment and training of all new staff
  • Delegating administration and other tasks to ensure seamless running of the centre
  • Responsible for and identifying training needs
  • Performance reviews etc.


  • You will have a background in facilities/Office Management/Operations
  • You will need to have an up to date knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Possess good decision making and problem solving skills and capable of applying own judgement
  • Ability to manage a large work load within required deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
  • Any relevant professional qualifications would be a benefit.

Salary Guide: £30,000 Monday - Friday.
