A popular school located in Westminster, North West London are searching to hire an English teacher starting September 2017.
The ideal teacher will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. The school are keen to secure an English teacher to join a thriving department in September 2017.
The role includes teaching English to all year groups Key Stage 3, Key stage 4 and experience with Key Stage 5 is preferable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have to be able to teach Key Stage 4. The Head of Department is new to the team, he has taken over from a previous Head of Department who was also an Assistant Head who lead the team extremely well, the team is very successful and there is progression for the right candidate.
As a new member of staff with the English department you will have access to resources within the faculty. You will also be supported by staff within the department, the department is made up of a range of NQT’s and experienced English Teachers which makes for a positive and progressive setting.
The School will accommodate induction terms for newly qualified teachers. The senior leadership team and NQT Coordinator at the school commit to making you an excellent practitioner if you are yet to finish your NQT year.
You will be required to deliver English to Key Stage 3, Key stage 4 and when you are settled into Key Stage 5 in the past. You will ideally be free to start in September 2017 and will continue to contribute to the Outstanding to outstanding teaching is delivered to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and 5.
Behaviour at the school is well managed, students are aware of their expectations and students value the education provided by staff and are respectful and want to learn making this a great place for teachers to teach.
To ensure behaviour is Outstanding and classes are clam and students are learning we will require someone who is able to plan well planned, differentiated and engaging lessons to include all students of all abilities and needs.
English is a popular subject at this school and exam results at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 are very Outstanding.
