Do you have experience developing branded content for well-known brands? Are you confident working with health, fitness and beauty brand clients and pitching in creative campaign ideas? Do you constantly strive to deliver the latest innovations in media?

Digital Advertising Sales Executive with a keen interest and knowledge of the UK's health industry is needed for our client, Britain's fastest growing women's health website. Founded two years ago by award-winning health journalist, it was recently funded by Touker Suleyman of BBC2's Dragon's Den fame. The role will involve selling and managing branded and native content from sponsored posts to branded partnerships. You'll join a dynamic team based in their new North London office, where they have in-house studio and video facilities and a small, dynamic content production team.


  • Identify sponsorship and advertising opportunities from editorial content and schedule, including finding cold leads and using editor's contacts to find new opportunities.
  • Manage the production of all native campaigns from single sponsored posts to ongoing annual sponsorship campaigns.
  • Take responsibility for sales and management of display and classified advertising.
  • Meet with potential sponsorship brand partners and key agents on a regular basis reaching out to brands and working with the editor to develop proposals for creative native content in written and video formats.
  • Invoicing and contracts related to sales
  • Make daily calls and pitches to potential brand partners about sponsored content, big and small
  • Work with the editor to develop pitches for branded content campaigns and content

Skills and experience:


  • Proven experience in finding and building leads within the health industry
  • Experience in developing sponsored and advertorial proposals for branded content and partnerships.
  • Strong sales background
  • Confident in using Excel and Powerpoint/Keynote
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics and keyword marketing (ideally - but not essentially - using the Semrush tool)


  • Interest in and passion for women's health and beauty
  • Contacts within the pharmaceutical, beauty, health and fitness industries
  • Flexible, dynamic mentality that's comfortable with the flux and fluidity of a start-up
  • Ability to up-sell packages of content
  • Ability to think editorially at what makes great content for paying brands
  • Ideas, ideas, ideas!


  • £26,000 + attractive commission package.
  • Flexible working and a part-time arrangement can be considered for the right person.
