Main Responsibilities:

* Research and develop structural body repair procedures on prototype & pre-production built vehicles as per customer requirement guidelines. * Work with the customer to review component serviceability levels and make sure components are serviced to the correct level. * Work with the customer and the special service tool supplier to provide technical support and advice for development of new and / or revised special tools, ensuring they work and function as designed and not over engineered. * Validate and identify process improvements on current published 'Remove and Install' procedures for all agreed body repair level components. * Develop structural Body Repair procedures using CAD based software packages. * Convert technical engineering content and author in clear and concise English in accordance with customer authoring standards / guidelines. In doing so, applying terminology guidelines at all times. * Obtain Engineering sign off for all body repair procedure deliverables. * Escalate any Engineering sign off issues to the appropriate persons for review, discussion and resolution. * Investigate and resolve cases raised through the customer feedback system in accordance with service level agreement (SLA) timings. Escalate internally should SLAs be exceeded. * Ensure all project trackers for those actively involved in projects are updated accurately to reflect project status at all times.

Person Specification:

Essential: * Extensive body repair experience, with a strong technical background. * Appropriate qualifications with excellent verbal and written English skills * IT and computer literate, ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently. Must have experience in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. * Experience of working individually and within a team. * Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal colleagues and the customer * Ability to manage and prioritise workloads to work to tight deadlines (in some instances being flexible in working hours if / when required)

Desirable: * Experience in body repair joining technology and processes * Capable of working remotely on a customer site * Experience of working in a customer facing role * Full / Clean Driving Licence
