A well respected International Charity is recruiting a Finance Manager to oversee the finance reporting function. The Finance Manager will report into the Head of Finance and Operations and will oversee two highly capable finance officers. Key responsibilities include:
*Overseeing the financial reporting for the charity including the production of the statutory financial statements
*Preparing timely management reports
*Generating financial analysis to assist senior management decision making.
*Providing sound financial advice to budget holders across the organisation
*Working with the Head of Finance and Operations to achieve clean internal and external audits.
*Collaborating with the Head of Finance and Operations to make improvements to financial systems and processes
*Providing financial advice for and monitoring major projects
This position requires a fully qualified CCAB accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA). Some experience of international finance would be an advantage but not necessary and candidates coming straight from practice or from a large commercial organisation are encouraged to apply. This role would suit someone who is looking to take on a role with a steep learning curve where they can get involved in both the hands on and strategic responsibilities of finance. Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a team and deliver financial advice to non-finance staff.
