To conduct audits of new Suppliers to ensure that all of the relevant quality systems and processes are to a world class standard, paying due consideration to IS / TS performance requirements.
To continually provide support to develop the Cwmbran current and future supply chain to achieve world class performance levels.

Principal Accountabilities

• To participate in the Supplier selection process.
• To conduct Supplier visits and to carry out the following activities;
Supplier appraisals
Parts and Process / APQP Audits
Pre-award meetings
Quality reviews
VAVE , Value stream mapping events
• To support Supplier resource activities - this will include;
Programme management
Support DMO / PMO activities
Follow up on Audit actions and close off
• Assist with the Defective Material Notification (DMN) process and ensure that supplier activity is undertaken to aid continuous improvement within their process.
• Audit and close off of Poke Yoke and DMN related corrective actions.
• Must be prepared to undertake further personal development activities.

Education and Experience

• Computer literate.
• Experience in component measurement, Geometrical Tolerencing.
• Knowledge of Global quality systems including APQP.
• Extensive product knowledge.
• Extensive automotive supplier process knowledge
• Experience in problem evaluation / solving.
• Well organised, team worker.
• Able to negotiate on activity.
• Good communication skills, Internal / External Suppliers.
• Driving licence / passport.
• Must be prepared to travel Worldwide at short notice.
