I am currently working on behalf of a major London Housing Association on a Clerk of Works vacancy within their Property Asset Management Team.

You will be tasked with supporting the Contract Operations Manager delivering responsive repairs and planned maintenance work to customers within their homes. This will be achieved through quality inspections and forensic examinations of defects and dilapidation.

You will attend site to:
1. Ensure that materials are consistent with the contract requirements
2. Ensure that the work that has been carried out by the contractors is of the required standard
3. Provide a weekly detailed report of progress
4. Conduct Fire Assessments and EPCs
5. Conduct Stock condition surveys
6. Carry out End of Defects Liability Inspections
7. Attend and witness the contractor's plumbing, pressure, air tightness and water tightness tests
8. Attend inspections at handover to ensure compliance with agreed standards and that all required certification is in place
9. Review complex responsive repairs where the repairs inspector cannot resolve the issue
10. Attend pre and post-contract meetings as required by the Contract Operations Manager
