Science Teachers required for Prep Schools

Location: Surrey & London
Start: September 2017
Salary: Approximately £40,000, an excellent salary and matched to candidates' qualification & experience and some additional staff benefits

The Schools:
Our Clients are two separate Independent Prep Schools and one is widely recognised as one of the leading co-educational day preparatory schools in the country, whilst the other provides high quality education for Girls.
One school is situated in Surrey and the other is situated in the London.
Both schools encourages pupils to become strong, confident and articulate individuals and to reach their full potential. This will enable their pupils to take on challenges of the next stage of their lives and on to the next stage of education too.
The Roles:
The successful applicant will be required to teach Science across the age range from Year 4 to Year 8. The department is organised so that full-time Science teachers have a variety of sets across our ability range. Relevant experience of teaching Science to KS2 and KS3 would be welcomed. An enthusiastic Science Teacher is required to engage pupils and lead

The Successful Candidate:
* A good degree in Science, or in a related discipline
* Ability to adopt and deliver a variety of teaching and learning styles
* A thorough knowledge and a real enthusiasm for Science
* Successful teaching experience across the ability and age range
* Ability and confidence to teach high-achieving students and support less able students
*knowledge of Common Entrance and scholarship level exams at 11+ and 13+ would be an advantage
