As an Evans Halshaw Area Sales Manager, you will visit Commercial vehicle retail & fleet operators at their premises at times convenient to them to sell and promote the award-winning DAF range of Commercial Vehicles & aftermarket support packages. Building genuine customer rapport is essential, mutually beneficial long term business relationship is the “prime” objective. You will take time to talk to people at various levels within businesses, identify exactly what they want and need. A real people person, you’ll come across as genuine & energetic when dealing with customers. As a result, they’ll trust you to recommend the right commercial vehicles as well as any available extras, accessories and value added products. You will manage your own time in a designated area of influence; Prospect using the telephone & numerous other channels utilising the extensive Evans Halshaw CRM database. You will have the opportunity to “leverage” sales from our existing truck database, maximise the use of vehicle demonstrator & provide weekly activity reports to the Group Sales Leader.

Through this ‘sales through service’ approach, you’ll aim to sell the maximum number of commercial vehicles at optimum profit.

You will have customer facing experience gained in a sales or retail role. You’ll also have a track record of successfully achieving and exceeding targets and the ability to build a rapport with a varied range of business users.
