Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a well-established and reputable Accountancy Practice based in Belfast who are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a full time permanent opportunity.

The Role:

Working as part of a small team, the role will play an important part in assisting the partners and staff within the practice on a daily basis.

More specific duties will involve:

Providing support and assisting with accounts preparation
Assisting with VAT Returns
Assisting with insolvency case work
Providing support to all departments within the practice
Providing ad hoc reports, investigation or analysis as required
Providing reception cover as required
Undertake any other duties as may be required by the Finance Department
Occasional filing and scanning of invoices

The Person

Candidates will have previous experience working in a finance function, and will have good systems experience to include MS Excel, Word & Outlook and will have excellent communication skills.

Full training will be provided however an aptitude for accounts (potentially an A Level qualification) would be advantageous.

Candidates will have 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include Mathematics and English.
