Calday Grange Grammar School is a selective academy for boys with a
mixed sixth form. We are a popular and successful school, providing a free grammar school education to students from Wirral, Liverpool, North Wales and Chester.
Required for September 2017
Salary: Dependent upon experience (in line with the school's pay policy)
Contract type: Full-time, fixed term for one year
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of Art who can contribute positively to a highly successful department with a strong record of academic excellence.
Our ideal candidate will:
- be a highly motivated classroom practitioner who is able to deliver an exceptional standard of teaching and learning up to and including A Level. Experience of teaching Fine Art with Art History is essential;
- have the integrity, drive and commitment for raising attainment in Art and the ability to enhance student understanding and enjoyment of this popular subject through innovative and engaging lessons;
- be willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities that add value for students.
