We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant, for a growing and dynamic business based in Milton Keynes.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Accounts Assistant position will be an integral part of a small accounts function. This is a fast moving business that has experienced year on year growth and requires someone to grow with them. In addition to the day to day accounts duties, you will need to be a confident communicator and capable of partnering 'non finance' areas of the business, including the Sales teams. This is a varied hands on position, where duties include;
• Monthly EC Sales reporting
• Quarterly VAT calculation and submission
• Credit control
• Debtors’ analysis
• Call-off order invoicing
• Supplier rebate claims
• Trade references and quality questionnaires
When required - banking and book-keeping duties as well as for regular month end reporting, which includes preparation of accruals and prepayments, analysis of variances and preparation of management reports.
The ideal person come with good excel skills (V-Look Ups, Pivots), you must have a good introduction to accounting and be interested in working in a fast paced environment, where you can learn from an experienced mentor. You will be hardworking, professional and have some rounded accounting skills.
Basic salary - £23,000 - £25,000 + excellent benefits
