Maternity contract for 4 days a week, to start ASAP and ending 31st March 2018.

To ensure accurate inputting of financial data including sales (invoicing), nominal and purchase ledger (payments).

To carry out reconciliations between computer programmes (Sage 200) and source documents.

To carry out weekly reconciliation and banking of petty cash/ desk book.

To support the lead officer in regards to the risk management, including preparation of the Risk Register and associated tasks in ensuring compliance. 

To carry out payroll duties such as checking timesheets, inputting payroll data and maintaining absence/holiday/TOIL records.

To deal with customers and suppliers regarding errors/queries and issues; such as credit management.

To carry out general office duties – monitoring and ordering of stationery, filing, drafting of correspondence and answering of phone calls.

To assist with year end duties as follows:
– Outstanding orders reconciliation to generate accruals journals;
– Checking of Petty cash and floats held by other departments; and
– Collation of utilities meter readings for submission to suppliers to enable accurate year end invoicing.

Experience within an accounts department required. 

AAT qualification an advantage.
