Marketing & Communications Manager (In-house)
My client a forward-thinking and vibrant law firm with a refreshing approach have a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented and highly skilled Marketing & Communications Manager with proven media relations, copywriting, social media and project management experience to join their innovative and hands-on team. Based within outstanding London offices the marcomms team are integral in shaping the core messaging for the firm, marketing strategies and driving the success of the business and as such this is a fast-paced and collaborative department that are constantly evolving.
Reporting into the Head of department and working closely with the CEO you will be responsible for implementation and delivery of the firms marketing and communication strategies whilst managing a small team and liaising closely with senior management, all members of the BD & Marketing team and across the business. This is a highly visible role offering huge amounts of exposure and responsibilities will range from Agency Coordination, Thought Leadership, Messaging and Internal Comms to providing high level consulting on Social Media, Strategic Comms, Firm-wide monitoring and much more!
THE PERSON, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years Senior Exec or Marcomms Management experience - in-house/client side
Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills
Media Relations: In-depth knowledge of the media - including social and new media. Experience of using print, broadcast and online to raise awareness is crucial.
Copywriting: Strong writing skills essential - including press release, website, blog, Twitter and newsletter/briefings. Guidance on how to draft these and best practice (for e.g. for SEO) will be required for training purposes.
Planning, Events & Management: Experience of managing events, managing a team and multiple projects essential.
Social media: Experience of social and digital media is essential. High knowledge of managing social media projects and being able to deliver training is vital.
Effective project management: Ability to work autonomously, planning and scheduling own work to deliver to deadlines, whilst effectively managing own team and working with colleagues.
