Legal Billings Clerk - Liverpool
Our client is a Liverpool Law Firm with a strong reputation within the area. They specialise in many areas of law including Commercial, IP & Technology, Tax, Corporate Finance & M&A, Employment and Real Estate amongst others.
They are looking to hire a Billing and Revenue Assistant to provide overall billing support to Partners and act as the main point of contact for practice areas within the firm.
Generate draft bills and finalise/process bills
Create supporting schedules
Ensure bills have been authorised in accordance with VAT and Solicitors Accounts Rules requirements
Prepare, process and upload electronic invoices
Create and format time reports
Investigate billing queries and offer solutions
Create and maintain billing rate tables
Process WIP transfers and write offs
Assist Credit Control in chasing outstanding amounts
Previous experience in within Legal Finance
Knowledge of e-billing systems (Serengeti, TyMetrix, CSC, CounselLink)
High degree of accuracy and an ability to prioritise a conflicting workload
Able to develop good working relationships
Salary Range & Benefits
The salary on offer for this role negotiable around 20/22k pro rata depending on experience. This role also comes with a range of benefits including bonus, onsite parking, pension.
