Job Title: Foreman Heating Engineer

Location: Central Belt (Glasgow to Edinburgh Area) but with occasional travel throughout Scotland

Salary: £17 - £18 per hour (£35,360 - £37,440) + company van + overtime

Our client is a national and growing facilities management company.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Foreman Heating Engineer within the HVAC Industry to join a rapidly expanding Company specializing in HVAC Projects.

You will work between different projects across Scotland, with the possibility of working away from home as and when required. You will be working on the tools, but in a working Foreman position to support the lead Engineer with additional responsibility when required. You are likely to be looking after 3-4 people including various sub-contractors.

You need to be a fully qualified Heating Engineer with a valid CSCS card with relevant commercial experience. If you have your commercial gas tickets this would be highly desirable, but is not essential. You will be working on the tools but need to have previous supervising experience, and be comfortable interpreting drawings, speaking to clients, organising materials from the merchants and dealing with paperwork if required. If you have capability of Metal Arc Welding, this would also be of benefit.

The role will mainly involve working on Projects within the Central Belt of Scotland, so ideal candidates will be based in the Glasgow - Edinburgh patch.

There will be a need to work on Projects further afield in Scotland where you would have to stay away for a few nights but this would only happened 2-3 times a year.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.

Role is available for an immediate start.

Interviews will be held at our clients head office in Blantyre.

To apply for this role please submit a full and up to date CV to Jonathan Sweasey at PDA Search and Selection.
