We are the market leaders in our sector of consumer goods and wish to recruit a UK Retail Sales Manager / Head of Retail Sales to manage our UK & Eire Business.

SALARY: £ 65,000 Base with 30% bonus, OTE; £85,000, Car or Car allowance and Excellent Benefits package

LOCATION: A mix of Office and Home based working, ideally within the Home Counties or Midlands.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Watford, Reading, Northampton, Oxford, High Wycombe, St Albans.


As UK Retail Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing sales in the UK market via a small team and personally manage some of the major multiples and key accounts. The business has identified massive growth potential within the major retailers and etailers and seeks an inspirational leader who can open doors and create opportunities. This is a senior role reporting to the VP of Sales with the individual retaining full responsibility for managing a multimillion turnover and defined growth targets. Our UK business is destined for growth and it’s an exciting time for you to develop this potential.


You will have a successful track record in Retail Sales within a branded product portfolio and be able to demonstrate success of working with distributors and high street retailers and the ability to develop successful sales strategies. You will mentor and develop the existing sales team bringing best practice and processes to add value to the wider business.

Sectors of particular interest could include but not exclusively Stationery, Art & Craft, Toys, Gift, Luxury Goods and Greeting Cards.

Team fit is vital – you will need personal credibility to be able to lead an established team who have long standing industry contacts and superb customer relationships.


We are looking for an inspirational and dynamic leader who can generate growth and add value to a growing market. Ideally a graduate with strong consumer goods sales experience at a senior level within Major Retailers, Distributors and Key independent accounts. You must be Numerate and financially agile and comfortable with rebate and commercial propositions.
