We are looking to bring on board a talented Catering Manager to work on a brand-new Government Services contract (Recently awarded) at HMRC in the Croydon district. You will be supporting the team to provide a Best In Class service that delivers value for money every day in service lines such as hospitality, café, pop ups and event management.

Main responsibilities

As our Catering Manager, you will lead and manage a team across multi catering units to deliver excellent food quality and customer service to our clients, whilst ensuring contractual, legislative and Compass standards are met and maintained.

You will also be responsible for developing trusted working relationship with clients through regular communication, providing accurate and timely periodic reports and acting with gravitas at meetings

Ideal candidate

We are expecting applications from candidates with proven operational management experience within a contract catering environment with sound knowledge of procedural and legislative frameworks, sound financial acumen and experienced in managing budgets and growing sales. Candidates will need to hold Level 3 Food Safety and Health and Safety qualification or equivalent

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in:

  • Managing teams to deliver innovative, high quality food and beverage offers that compete with the high street
  • Delivering customer service standards that match or exceed best in class on the high street
  • Being obsessive about providing great customer service and food in both the café and hospitality environment
  • Working in partnership with Hard FM providers to deliver a seamless service for the client
