Facilites Manager

We have a fantastic oppertunity for an experienced facilities manager to join a fantastic hotel in Coventry 

About the role…

The Maintenance Manager takes responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and the management of the maintenance team. You will ensure that jobs are completed efficiently to ensure that the guest expectations are met during their stay. You will be required to allocate responsibilities to the team, complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things! You will also liaise with contractors and take responsibility for health and safety.

About you…
The successful candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on manager who has excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a maintenance department preferably within a hotel is required and knowledge of engineering and electrics plus health and safety are beneficial. You will have the ability to create a maintenance schedule, Ability to troubleshoot, Knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained, Knowledge of maintenance procedures, Knowledge of systems to be maintained (e.g. Electrical, roofing) Ability to lift heavy loads where required and have leadership experience also to delegate tasks effectively to the team.
