About the Head of History Role
As a Head of History your role will involve you leading the close-knit Humanities as an important member of the management team. This role comes with the responsibility of reviewing and improving teaching and learning across this subject and making amendments where necessary. The Head Teacher understands the importance of providing teachers with career direction and continued professional development helping you to reach your potential. As Head of History, you will be keeping the team performance on track through professional development. Your duties as Head of History will include taking on board the feedback of the SLT in monthly meetings in order to ensure the progression of your faculty. You will have the responsibility of contributing to a creative teaching approach and developing the Humanities curriculum for the benefit of all students.
