BASED - Chichester or Guildford
POSITION - Permanent

SALARY - To £70K + Bens + discretionary bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk Analyst reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, providing leadership to Governance and Risk across all group activities. The ideal person must have experience of Pillar2 calculations and the maintenance of ICAAP.

The successful Risk Analyst responsibilities will be:
Handling and maintaining a complete and effective risk management framework through the Group and providing guidance to Governance and Risk across all Group entities.
Functioning with the Finance team on the preservation of the ICAAP, managing the detention and understanding of date to be used in the Pillar 2 calculation, as well as work collaboratively alongside the wider Compliance team.
Acting the Systems & Controls Function (CF28) (Risk) as agreed with the Board, creating, approving, implementing, managing and revising strategic and business plans for the Governance and Risk Management function, providing technical knowledge for major complex company projects and acting as the lead adviser to the Group on matters linking to risk management and related disciplines.

The Successful Risk Analyst will have:
Knowledge of FCA and other relevant regulations governing the behaviour of private client stockbroking, investment management and financial planning business. This is shared with a comprehensive understanding of Governance, Risk Management and Risk Management Methods.
Ideally, the job holder will hold (or be working towards) a Compliance qualification, a Risk qualification or an Internal Audit qualification.
Desirable 5 years’ practical industry experience in a senior compliance role and practical experience of applying FCA rules
