Overall Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for maintaining the Insurer Accounts, involving (but not limited to) the production of insurer, Appointed Representative, Introducer and third party statement reconciliations and accurate processing of payments. In addition the role will involve Client Money handling, including processing Client and Third Party receipts. Other duties could involve assisting in the production of the Management Accounts, monthly management information and Balance Sheet Control work. The position will support the Insurance Accounts Manager.

Principal Responsibilities:

Reconciliation and payment of Insurer Accounts. To ensure that clients' money is fully and accurately accounted for. Processing of third party transactions, assist with Credit Control, Aged Debt management, assist in ledger and system housekeeping, query handling in the first instance Introducer reconciliation and payment, Appointed Representative reconciliation and payment and any ad-hoc project work

Person Specifications:

Good Excel skills, experienced and confident user of other Microsoft Office packages, Outlook, and databases. Good written communication skills, good telephone manner, and time management. Good level of secondary education, good attention to detail. The ability to use own initiative. Hard-working, proactive, positive approach and strong interpersonal skills required to engage with other team members and account managers. The candidate should be able to manage a dynamic workload in a fast paced environment, working towards AAT qualification or having obtained a Finance or similar degree.
