Our client is a medium sized service based business based in West Leeds that has demonstrated year on year growth over the past 5 years and looks set to increase their turn over again through recent acquisitions. They offer a brilliant working environment and a fast paced culture that is easy to progress in.

They have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a well established finance function with an excellent team to lead and motivate.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

-Managing a team of 8, consisting of 6 Purchase Ledger Clerks and 2 Accounts Assistants
-Consistently holding 1 to 1's to motivate and develop the team
-Developing and reporting monthly KPI's
-Looking at process improvement and implementing change and efficiencies
-Ownership of supplier accounts, updating them and opening new accounts
-Supporting the Financial Controller at month and year end

This is a fantastic role that you can really make your own with a great team that are keen to learn and develop. You must have strong man management experience and exposure working within a retail environment would be advantageous but not essential.
