We are looking for a talented & motivated individual with expertise in the recruitment sector to join our team. You may be an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a wealth of industry experience that you would like to share with others; we can help you transition into a career in Training. Alternatively, you may already be an experienced Recruitment Trainer/Assessor.

The position will involve travel within the following areas - London, Herts, Beds and Bucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & deliver teaching, learning, assessment & IAG to all learners in line with Ofsted, SFA and Company requirements

  • To maintain a minimum number of 40 funded learners within their region

  • To ensure a minimum of 75% of learners achieve their framework within the allocated timeframe.

  • To contribute to the on-going development of curriculum design & delivery

  • Effectively engage, build relationships and understand employers requirements

Main Duties:

Teaching, Learning and Assessment

  • Manage a caseload of learners as agreed with your line manager - carry out regular learner visits and evidence teaching, learning & assessment

  • Provide support and coach learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT

  • Produce creative & innovative learning materials , deliver engaging & inspiring workshop presentations and blended learning as required

  • Assess and support learners working towards an Intermediate or Advanced & Higher level Apprenticeship Frameworks.

  • Inspire and motivate your learners and identify any barriers and adapt to your learners needs

  • Undertake appropriate learning and development activities as required for the job role and maintain a record of all CPD

Employer Engagement

  • Develop excellent working partnerships with Employers, provide services as outlined in the Employer Agreement and identify training needs.

  • Liaise proactively with employers and actively sources leads as directed and identify new business opportunities by understanding business needs presenting key benefits of services and products to acquire new business.

  • Support as required relevant networking and career & employer events to represent the JLT brand and service

Administration and Reporting

  • Adhere to all compliance regulations in line with SFA requirements

  • Meet as a minimum the KPI target agreed at performance reviews on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

  • Provide accurate & timely reports as agreed with your line manager based on your KPIs

  • To actively promote & challenge Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children & Adults, Prevent policy and adhere to all other relevant policies, procedures and legislation.

  • Completion of portfolios in a timely manner for the interim and summative verification and work with of the Internal Quality Assurer to ensure the quality of the Framework is maintained


  • Communicate with Employers and your line manager to give regular updates on learner progress and identify any 'at risk’ learners/sites produce an action plan with recommendations

  • Proactively seek opportunities to raise awareness of the benefits of Apprenticeship and other training

  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.

Experience :

  • Minimum three years in the recruitment sector

  • Experience of managing staff within recruitment sector.

  • Experience working to targets

  • Previous training experience (Desirable but full training may be given to the right candidate


  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent C or above (E)

  • IT literate in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint (E)


  • Full clean driving license

  • Own car

  • Able to travel within the region and on occasion outside of the region to meet the needs of the business
