My client, a highly reputable company and market leader within the field of specialised scientific instruments are looking for a Technical Sales Executive to help drive the business forward.

The Technical Sales Executive

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will primarily be involved in supporting the field sales teams in assisting the sales of the company's highly specialised products into their target markets. This will not be a cold calling role but instead handling the inbound sales from customers. Following your training, you will also provided technical sales assistance to all UK users and assistance to distributors throughout the EMEA region. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be developing and executing sales plans for individual accounts and broader targets. You will also participate in trade shows and be able to feedback market intelligence to the wider team.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed as a Technical Sales experience, you must already have a strong, accomplished background in sales. Additionally, this must be within the engineering or scientific instrument sectors. It would be desirable, but not essential, if you were to have a qualification in a technical/scientific/engineering subject. You must also be driven and not afraid to find new business.

What's On Offer

In return, the successful Technical Sales Executive will receive a basic salary of up to £40,000, dependent on experience. This will be an office based role, working full time hours Monday - Friday. They also include other benefits such as a highly generous pension match. However, the package is flexible and they are happy to negotiate with the right person!
