Marketing Executive

Location: Rugby, CV21 3HQ, UK

Annual Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Full-time (pro-rata for part-time)

IChemE (Institution of Chemical Engineers) is the global professional membership organisation for chemical engineers and process engineers.

IChemE is looking for an experienced marketing executive to join its training and events team. We will consider full-time and part-time candidates for this role.

Educated to degree level or equivalent with 3+ years experience in a marketing role, you will be responsible for promoting your own training courses and events, devising and implementing your own marketing plans and liaising with our sales staff, graphic designers, press officers and other members of the team to deliver each course and conference against budget. You must be comfortable taking the initiative and operating in an environment with challenging revenue growth targets. Previous experience of performing against targets is essential and a background in the events and/or training sector will be advantageous.

Good organisational skills are a must as you will be responsible for a range of marketing campaigns concurrently. We rely heavily on e-marketing so you will likely have experience in this area and be a proven copywriter with an excellent eye for detail. You will also have a wider marketing background, preferably with experience in direct mail, advertising, social media and more.

The position is based at our Rugby, UK office although some occasional travel may be required within the UK.

We will consider a full-time candidate working 37.5 hours per week or two part-time candidates working approx. 20 hours per week each (specific days/hours should be disclosed in your cover letter and will be discussed further at interview).

The full-time annual salary for this position will be in the region of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits which includes a very generous pension scheme and flexitime. The annual salary for part-time candidates will be based on a pro-rata equivalent of the full-time salary plus benefits as mentioned.
