Medical Sales Representative
Our client is looking for a UK medical sales representative to join their existing UK and European team. The role will be responsible for developing sales for their professional body composition monitors within UK & ROI within the medical and private practice sector.
This is an exciting role in a growth market representing a globally recognised and respected brand. As a medical sales representative for professional measurement products in the UK you should be able to see the results of your hard work. The role reports to the UK Commercial manager with a dotted line to European COO level, which could be advantageous to career progression should you excel in the role.
Being responsible for sales and marketing within the defined territory means that your activities will be varied. However, some of the main responsibilities will include:
* All marketing and sales activity associated with the professional product group.
* Gaining a full understanding of the market and competitors.
* Negotiating customer contracts in line with the company's financial and distribution strategies.
* Utilise key account planning tools to manage the commercial and business relationships with key accounts.
* Monitor competitor distribution programmes and compare their performance.
* Monthly reporting.
You will also require strong communication skills and the ability to influence not only external customers but also colleagues whom you may not see regularly.
We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit who relishes building business. A keen interest in health and wellbeing, or nutrition would be a real benefit. This role may suit someone who has done some corporate sales within health clubs or someone who has sold food supplements. Personal attributes will be a defining factor in the selection process, as product and industry training will be provided.
The role covers the UK and there will be travel involved. However, there will also be a lot of customer contact over the phone and email. The company has an office in central Manchester, which you would be required to visit on a weekly basis.
