Overview of the Role:

Direct Workforce is currently working with one of our well established clients based in Leeds area who are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Negotiator to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities for the successful candidate:

This is a key front facing sales role responsible for dealing with all aspects of the residential sales process. Effectively mediating sales from the initial enquiry, carrying out viewings, negotiating and progressing sales through to completion plus all general office and administration duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage all lead enquiries within agreed timescales.

  • Effectively record applicant information, helping to procure new sales business by matching customers with properties.

  • Self-generate your own leads, building and maintaining relationships across the market, identifying new opportunities whilst managing your own database.

  • Regularly chasing and updating clients in-order to meet and exceed targets whilst working to set deadlines and key SLAs and KPIs.

  • Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities.

  • Generate new and repeat business opportunities for market appraisals, instructions, viewing and sales.

  • Arrange and attend viewings. Give feedback to clients.

  • Financially qualify applicants whilst identifying opportunities of FS leads.

  • Efficiently managing progress of sales from offer stage through to completion. Liaising and negotiating with all concerned parties including buyer and vendor solicitors.

  • Ensure that you proactively develop your knowledge of the property portfolio, market and legal obligations and procedures.

  • Responsible for the organisation and management of own time, workload and office environment.

  • Providing excellent customer service.

  • Any other duties deemed necessary by Sales Manager

Skills and experience required:

This role would suit an individual with property experience however this is not essential as training will be provided as necessary. The ideal candidate will be customer centric, driven, enthusiastic and pro- active with a ‘can do’ attitude. Progression opportunities available for the right person therefore a keen interest in developing within the property sector is essential.

  • Ideally property sales experience however not essential.

  • Some sales or negotiation experience.

  • Passionate, hardworking and committed.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and targets.

  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills.

  • IT literate – Intermediate level with Microsoft e.g. Outlook, Work and Excel.

  • Hold a full driving licence.

The client is looking for someone who is results driven and hungry for success, self-motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious. Someone who has excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills as well as the ability to work on their own initiative.

Hours:

You will be working a standard 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 and you will be required to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays due to the nature of the business.

Due to the nature of the business you will ideally use your own car and claim back your petrol usage.
