An exciting opportunity has become available for a Telesales Executive to work for our client based in Poole, Dorset!

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am-6.00pm

Salary: £17,750 per annum plus £4,000 commission

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Work to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly sales targets for connections and trading margin.

  • Be an expert on all elements of our product portfolio including but not limited to handsets, SIM cards, accessories, operating systems, networks, tariffs, value added services, eco systems, peripherals etc.

  • Management of inbound calls in a prompt, polite and efficient manner using agreed company greeting; quickly establishing rapport with the caller and identifying their primary reason for calling.

  • Make outbound calls to new customers sourced from web, Existing customers and other lead sources in a prompt, polite and efficient manner; quickly making introductions and seeking permission to prepare a quote.

  • Use standard operating procedure to capture customer needs in a way that builds the propensity for the customer to buy from you; considering wider fixed and IT profile in line with network product development.

  • Provide quotes matching the best possible deal for the customer in line with their needs; keeping in mind our margin aspirations but moderating this to stay within the parameters of a good deal for the customer.

  • Attempt to close business as soon as possible dependant on the dialogue with the customer; avoiding over-selling of features of no real benefit and understanding when to abandon a call with an uninterested customer.

  • Provide feedback on our proposition to sales management; emphasising elements that help you sell and establishing clear 'no-sale' reasons from unsuccessful closes.

  • Process all sales orders accurately and efficiently into the relevant systems; ensuring all CRM data is entered correctly including sales source/campaign and no-sale reasons if applicable.

  • Build a pipeline of future business from post-dated enquiries; resign opportunities and referrals from existing customers or any other lead referral source.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Expert in all elements of a business mobile sale

  • Follow a formally defined sales process

  • Comfortable with PIE and all B2B sales and CRM systems

  • No formal qualifications are mandatory.
