Home Manager - Suffolk - £45K + bonus!

I am looking to recruit an accomplished and competent Home Manager (nurse-qualified) to work on a permanent basis at my client's nursing home just outside of Diss, Suffolk.

This home specialises in nursing care for adults with complex physical and mental health needs, as well as also providing general elderly and dementia nursing care to up to 37 residents. The home is set in rural countryside, and often organises a plethora of activities for residents to socialise with others and within the local community. The CQC has rated the home as Good in each domain, and this is a result of the passionate care staff, individualised and first-class nursing care at the home.

You will reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, upholding clinical duties as well as demonstrating effective management, communicative and organisational capabilities. You will have financial management responsibilities related to budgets and controls, and be responsible for the monitoring, improvement and maintenance of CQC standards, occupancy and the overall reputation/marketing of the home.

  • Must be a Registered General Nurse or a Registered Mental Health Nurse in the UK with an active and clear PIN
  • Minimum of 3 years Home Management experience in a general elderly/dementia care setting within the past 5 years
  • Must have excellent knowledge of CQC/local authority requirements and safeguarding
  • Excellent clinical, managerial and communicative skills are essential and must be evidenced
