A fantastic opportunity has arisen, for a motivated and hungry individual to become a Field Sales Executive. You will be travelling within the south managing existing accounts, whilst approaching new leads converting them into new customers.

My client is a leader in their industry, with presence in over 10 countries including over 15 years. Using the local approach, all of the field sales representatives will report into local managers within branches across the UK.

The role:

  • Responsible for the promotion, negotiation and supply of equipment and products to new and existing customers and pro-actively manage the on-going performance of the accounts to increase profitability.

  • Create new business opportunities to deliver continual pipeline of future growth.

  • Pro-actively drive cross selling opportunities.

  • Ensure all accounts are managed to improve retention rates, upsell of additional products and increase consumption opportunities in new and existing sites.

  • Acknowledge and resolve all customer queries and complaints within the agreed SLA’s.

  • Identify any 'At Risk’ customers and establish action plans to retain with Field Sales Manager and retention team.

  • Ensure all customers have valid signed contracts.

  • Utilise the diary management and CRM system keeping accurate records of all customer interactions.

  • Develop effective working relationships with Operations and support teams to improve customer service

  • Accurately complete all requests for HR and management data.

  • Continually develop sales skills and keep up to date with products and market developments.

  • Represent the organisation in a professional and timely manner at all times.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous demonstrable successful sales experience

  • Experience of pro-active account management and prospect creation

  • Knowledge and experience of CRM and diary management systems

  • Results orientated and customer driven with a clear focus on key business objectives.

  • Commercial and Business acumen

  • Excellent command of English language - verbal and written

  • Effective and confident communication and presentation skills

  • Numerical and analytical with ability to plan and forecast effectively

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • High level of organisational and time management skills

  • Professional and credible

  • Ability to interact with influence and impact at all levels.

  • Reliable and resilient with energy, passion and drive.

  • Flexible and collaborative approach

Candidate will ideally have education to a degree standard, and a full clean driving licence.
