Berkeley Scott are very pleased to be recruiting in partnership with this industry-renowned company in the North Wales area. They are looking for a Sous Chef with a salary available of circa £28k + Bonus + Tips + Company benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef with truly outstanding credentials to lead the kitchen team and food operation at one of the area's leading operators and one of the country's best employers. If you are also a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef with a similar background we would definitely like to hear from you as this is most definitely not a step down and you may be the perfect fit. You will be a natural leader, and get a real kick out of coaching and developing your team, leading them on to even greater success.

You will be solely responsible for the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence and must be a rock by their side on a day to day basis. You should also be tech savvy to an extent and able to use up-to-date software packages for the likes of ordering, GP control and team rostering, though you will be able to delegate these types of tasks in order to develop your junior management team. If you haven't worked with fully fresh food before you will need a real passion for it and know the strong basics of fully fresh delicious, comfort food cooking.

Most importantly you must have a talent and the experience of driving big teams of up to 30 and revenues of up £50k per week and 750- 1000 covers! This absolutely essential in order to increase quality and consistency, through a multi-pronged approach. You will need an organised and consultative approach, able to develop the already solid team around you to support you - All the while, keeping customer satisfaction as your yardstick.

You should hold your teams' progression as paramount to their continued growth as a team and as individuals, which can only help the business to thrive.

This role is not for the faint of heart, big teams and big numbers are not to be underestimated and this role will not be for someone who cannot handle the heat in the kitchen!
