We have an exciting opportunity for an assistant accountant to join a market leader within its field based in North Oxfordshire. In this role, you will be supporting the financial manager with a variety of financial-related matters.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of accounts and monthly audits
- Preparing and processing supplier payments and overseeing credit control
- Performing bank and VAT reconciliations
- Preparing monthly financial reports
- Supervising the accounts team
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar field, and will ideally be AAT Level 4 qualified, or equivalent. You will be a confident user of Sage and you will also possess managerial/supervisory experience. You will have great attention to detail and be highly organised, and you will a self-starter with the ability to motivate others.
