Role for Continuous Improvement Manager

My client a Shared Service Centre based in Winnersh(Berkshire), covering Finance and HR are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager. The function is part of global shared service operation and offers serves 100 countries.

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for ensuring that an environment of CI exists within the SSC and proactively driving change through. Ensure no negative impact on the business. By being the catalyst and driver of change support the management and members of SSC to improve the service offering and efficiency.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will:

  • Review and audit of all current working practices of SSC with the task to ensure all processes are fully documented, adhered to and any opportunities for improved service or efficiency are fully obtained
  • Lead projects to drive continuous improvement, including cross functional review groups
  • Project manage internal and external SSC projects, to ensure minimum disruption and that full service is provided to business units at all times
  • Devise and manage a CI programme
  • Provide support to SSC management team in periods of change to help efficiently manage the change and communicate that to SSC team and wider business community
  • Provide support to SSC Leadership team on ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • Project management of transitions of activities into SSC working closely with Project team

Essential criteria for Continuous Improvement Manager

  • At least 5 years change management/process management experience working in a service level environment
  • Strong commercial focus in a profit making organisation
  • Experienced change/CI manager
  • Experience in working:
  • Across multiple countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa
  • With / in large multi-national organisations
  • In a multi-functional Shared Services operations
  • Ability to drive and manage changes within the organisation
  • Championed and lead continuous improvement initiatives in Finance
  • Fluency in written & oral English
  • Previous exposure to a culturally diverse working environment
  • Ability to speak more than one major European language
  • Ability to work and deliver collaboratively across a complex global matrix
