As a Home Emergency Response Engineer you will have to attend both emergency and non-emergency situations within private domestic properties, dealing with both heating and plumbing systems. This means you will need to have significant and current boiler breakdown experience. It is desirable if you are currently working within the industry as a technical diagnostic and repair engineer.
As you'll be representing our client it is important that you offer the highest standard of customer service, integrity and honesty that people expect from a leading company. You will need to keep the customer updated about the situation and any extra work or recommendations that might be needed.
You will have to work without direct supervision and carry out all work to the required industry health and safety standards and guidelines whilst maintaining thorough documentation for each job.
If you have completed a recognised technical training programme and have substantial working experience in the plumbing and heating industry, this could be the perfect role for you!
You must hold current and in date ACS accreditation's CCN1, CPA1 CKR1 and CENWAT (or CEN1 and WAT1).
You will also need to hold a basic plumbing qualification - City&Guilds or an NVQ.
You will be required to attend with your certificates and all accreditation's and qualifications you hold - if you are selected to attend the assessment.
In addition you will need to hold a valid driving license - with no more than 6 points.
