A growing and forward thinking organisation are looking to recruit a Residential Support Worker for one of their homes in Birmingham. The service provides support and care for children young people with EBD who are looking to become independent. All the residents have a detailed person centred plan which sets out their goals for developing independence. The organisation is passionate about the service they provide and the team they recruit.
Your new role
You will be supporting children and young people within a residential living environment, ensuring they receive the highest levels of care and support which is appropriate to their individual needs. The role will be located in Birmingham and these shifts will be over 7 days a week, so being flexible is really essential to the role.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have minimum 12 months experience working in a similar setting, and have completed the NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People.
