Business Development Caller
This role offers you the opportunity to get involved and progress through a career within the sales team at our client, one of the UK's biggest providers of software and e-learning solutions. You will be joining a passionate team who focus on driving the sale of bespoke web-based e-learning for a range of local, national and international companies. Their Sales Department provides many of the underpinning services which engage with their customers and potential customers. The internal calling team provides a variety of essential roles; ranging from contacting clients, ensuring sales targets are met and developing new business ideas and leads.
What does this role involve?
- Cold calling potential clients to secure appointments and drive new business.
- Researching clients and generating new leads with commercial intelligence.
- Taking part in strategy meetings; making commercial decisions surrounding the calling approach to key clients.
Our successful candidate will have...
- Strong B2B telephone experience (min. 3 years).
- Background in technology/ software sales.
- A desire to progress into a Senior Caller position or with the potential to move into Account Management and Field Sales.
