Mortgage Advisor (Telephone Based)

Location: Swindon

Salary: £30k OTE (£50K)

Hours: 35 hours per week. To be agreed between the hours of 9am and 7pm

Due to continued success, my client are now recruiting for 2 head office based Mortgage Advisors.

Maintaining excellent quality standards in accordance with the industry regulation., the purpose of the role is to offer suitable and affordable mortgage advice over the telephone to new and existing customers.

All leads are supplied via various channels. Full back office support will be provided by the processing support team.

This role will involve

  • Recommending suitable mortgage solutions to a client’s needs
  • Outbound calling may be required to follow up and convert existing pipeline leads.
  • Ensuring all recommendations adhere to their Suitable Advice Framework
  • Cross skilling to be able to support the protection advice team where required
  • Meeting agreed performance and quality KPIs
  • Delivering a professional and credible service and ensure your knowledge is up to date always. Key Performance Measures

  • To achieve performance and quality KPI’s as agreed by the Centre Manager in line with the agreed quality framework
  • To manage pipeline cases effectively and timely with agreed parameters Qualifications / Experience

Qualifications / Experience

  • CEMAP or equivalent is essential
  • A clear communicator who can engage clients over the phone
  • Proven track record as a Mortgage Adviser, exceeding quality and income targets
  • Exceptional telephone sales skills
  • Ability to work to pre-determined deadlines in a fast paced, target driven environment
  • A professional individual with ability to use own initiative
  • Self-motivated with ability to work within a team
