Head of Group Reporting
I am currently working with a large rapidly growing private equity backed property business, they have a newly created position to head up their group reporting function. The company is working towards sale or listing on the stock market in the near future, so need to increase their reporting capability. You will lead the reporting function which is likely to grow rapidly over the coming years, but will initially be a team of 3 to 4 qualified accountants.
The role will initially involve setting up the reporting processes and controls for the company which owns property all over Europe and is constantly involved in new acquisitions. You will then support the due diligence for the potential transaction, then develop the external reports after the transaction. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a very rare business transaction, which will vastly enhance your CV and experience.
To be considered you will ideally have Group Finance experience in a large listed business, or be a senior manager in Audit at a Big 4 practice looking to make your first move into industry. You will need to be very strong technically, with good knowledge of controls and reporting processes in a large business. It will be vital you have excellent communication skills as you will dealing with senior stakeholders across the business. You will need to be a qualified accountant (preferably ACA) with significant post qualified experience to be considered.
