Are you a BDM who has sold into the SME TPI Channel? We are looking for an energised Business Development Manager to promote a leading retail energy company brand and drive acquisition and renewal performance in the SME TPI sector. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager-SME, this role will assume full responsibility for delivering TPI External acquisitions and renewals in line with business plan. This role is based in Bristol, Gloucester, Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver acquisition and renewal profit and Mpans against business plan
  • To service a portfolio of brokers
  • Produce robust business plans and ensure consistent pipeline of opportunity
  • Contribute towards strategic initiatives for the team
  • Attend broker visits to cultivate relationships and secure business
  • Ensure all tracking, MI and KPI measures are in place
  • Report back to business performance against agreed objectives
  • Ensure successful registration of new customers through accurate and efficient processes

Skills and Experience required:

  • Good communicator with strong influencing skills and natural sales acumen
  • Proven track record of delivery in a B2B environment
  • Manage a portfolio of brokers and meet sales targets and KPIs
  • IT literate, analytical and data driven with solid attention to detail skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Successful delivery of personal objectives assuming responsibility for delivery of strategic plan
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Clean driving licence with National UK travel
