Global Consultancy - Government, Commercial, and Residential - Quantity Surveyor

A Top 5, Global Consultancy are seeking an energetic and motivated professional Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Newcastle offices, a short walk from Newcastle Central Station. The Quantity surveyor will work on High-Value Government, Commercial, And Residential projects.

Location: Newcastle

Duties: The Quantity Surveyor will be heavily involved in the day to day running of projects. You will be closely supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors with projects in the Government, Commercial, and Residential sectors

  • Monthly Reconciliations
  • Ongoing Project Reviews
  • Variation Management
  • Assisting in the preparation of claims
  • Review Contract Documentation
  • Negotiation of Contracts and Final Accounts with Clients.
  • Provide Operational support to offices throughout the UK and India.

Requirements: The Quantity Surveyor will have an RICS accredited degree and will also have demonstrable experience in a Quantity Surveying role - Circa 3+ Years. You will ideally have been working on Government, Commercial, or Residential projects.

Beneficial:

  • MRICS or Registered progress on the APC programme
