We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Information Executive to join a brand new client of ours. The main purpose for this Marketing Information Executive role is to support the Marketing & Insights Manager with the creation and delivery of the business' market information programme. Within this role you will track and report industry sizes, trends & performance, consumer segmentations and market research output. The role holder will also play a substantial role within the business through management of satisfaction surveys and similar strategies to inform of the business's service development and marketing.

Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire
Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Type: Permanent

Primary duties;
*To design and deliver in-house market research for the association. This will include designing, analysing and presenting research into demand for new products, customer satisfaction and developing B2B and consumer segmentations.
*To deliver the business' standard market information resources for its members
*With the support of the Marketing and insights manager, manage delegated parts of the market information budget to ensure best value for money from research agencies engaged on the association's behalf
*To provide analysis of monthly and quarterly state of trade indicators when required
*To conduct or support as required any ad hoc analyses of survey research data, qualitative feedback from members or desk research to inform the business' policy positions with government
*To ensure member use of the business' market information products and services are produced in concert with other learning and business support services for members (especially conferences, training).
*To undertake such administrative and other tasks, appropriate to level of the job, as may be required.
*Regularly record member contact ensuring that the interaction and outcomes are input to the membership database (CRM) to maintain records and reference member data
*Follow organisational process and procedures to ensure member expectations and agreed service level agreements are met

Candidate specification;
*Experience in a market research role at Research Executive/Senior Research agency or client side
*Experience of conducting quantitative analysis using cross-tabulation
*GCSE Maths and English to B grade standard minimum, or equivalent
*Basic hands-on experience of qualitative research (e.g. depth interviewing, focus group moderation)
*Market Research Society or Chartered Institute of marketing qualifications
*Experience in or supporting product/category management or marketing communications roles
*Demonstrable interest in futures/emerging trends, business or corporate affairs and lobbying
