Do you have experience in the SME TPI energy channel and of leading a small team of BDM’s? We are looking for an energised Senior TPI Business Development Manager to promote a leading B2B retail energy company to drive acquisition and renewal performance in the SME sector. Reporting to the Head of TPI Sales-SME, this role will assume full responsibility for delivering TPI External acquisitions and renewals. The Senior TPI Manager will be a natural leader and motivator with a proven track record of delivery in a B2B environment.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Lead small team of BDMs to deliver acquisition and renewal profit against business plan
  • To service your own portfolio of brokers and deliver key acquisition and renewal profit
  • Lead on strategic initiatives for team and ensure consistent pipeline of opportunity
  • Attend broker visits with BDMs to cultivate relationships and secure business
  • Motivate, coach and performance manage team and produce robust business plans for each
  • Set robust succession plan to ensure the continued development of team members
  • Ensure all tracking, MI and KPI measures are in place
  • Report back to business TPI channel performance against agreed objectives on regular basis
  • Ensure successful registration of new customers through accurate and efficient processes

Skills and Experience required:

  • Natural leader and motivator
  • Assumes full responsibility for strategic plan and delivery of team business plan
  • Good communicator with strong influencing skills
  • Proven track record of delivery in a B2B environment
  • Analytical and data driven, IT literate with good attention to detail, accuracy skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated and driven
  • Sales and customer focussed - driving quality and acting as lead ambassador for customers
  • Clean UK driving license - the role will involve extensive over-night national travel

This role is Home based.
