Payroll Clerk - Immediately Available
Do you want to work for an exciting service provider based in the Stockport area? Do you want to work for a business an exciting company experiencing rapid growth?
We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity. The successful candidate needs to have experience in producing end to end payroll, be confident in working in a large team and have excellent communication skills.
Your daily duties will include:
- Ensuring all required wages information is received from client companies in time for payroll deadlines.
- Ensuring all information is entered into the payroll system in accordance to payroll deadlines.
- Performing accuracy checks on data as required by the payroll procedures.
- Producing and distributing payslips to client companies within locally agreed deadlines.
- Responding to queries from internal and external customers.
- Filing all payroll information in accordance with the procedure and archiving policy.
