Your new role

This position has become available due to increased work portfolio. You will carry out commissioning on a number of contracts within the private and public sector in environments such as commercial, retail and industrial properties. Focusing on the commissioning of Fire systems, proficiency in a number of systems such as Gent and Morley will be beneficial. Duties will include; meetings with clients to ensure commissioning is performed within the contract time and agreed specification. Full commissioning of specific systems. Upon completion you will provide the necessary handover and training to the client. Complete all necessary commissioning certificates and obtain acceptance from the customer. Complete all appropriate paperwork both on and off site to accurately record any site variation instructions issued by the client.

What you'll need to succeed

Industry experience within Fire installation and commissioning with a good understanding of British standards.
A methodical approach to problem solving and an accomplished level of literacy.
A valid driving license is essential, as the role will involve travelling to and from customer's premises.
Knowledge of all applicable current British standards is essential.
Knowledge of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, how to program and operate a wide range of control panels and associated detection devices is essential.
