I am currently working with a successful and reputable Legal practice based in Buckinghamshire. The firm runs high quality case management software’s and provides debt recovery services to Group clients, recovering ground rent, service charge and many more. Due to organic growth, they are now seeking a Head of Legal and COLP to join their team in Buckinghamshire on a Permanent full-time basis.

The successful Head of Legal and COLP will hold a senior or management role, as well as having a broad experience of managing litigation with a focus on Landlord and Tenant disputes. They will also be providing an exemplary level of professionalism at all times, simply assisting the Group to increase turnover and profit through all proper channels. They should also be able to advise and assist with legal aspects of all Human Resources functions within Group, including responses to complaints and Ombudsman investigations, freehold assets, negotiating lease terms for Group premises and advising on data protection. The Head of Legal and COLP should have excellent standard of knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law and up to date Case Law as well as ensuring the Board are kept regularly up to date.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Providing high quality and commercially astute legal advice to the Board on all aspects of the Group’s businesses
• Advising on due diligence and contractual terms in respect of potential acquisitions
• Providing general “first port of call” advice to support the Group’s insurance team
• Advising on and assisting with legal aspects of all Human Resources functions within Group.
• Advising on and assisting with responses to complaints and Ombudsman investigations
• Advising on Group procurement and assisting with supplier relations
• Advising on Group freehold assets
• Advising on and negotiating lease terms for Group premises
• Advising on data protection
• Resolving complex day to day issues within the Group, general troubleshooting and providing constant support to all staff members
• Assisting the Group to develop its service offerings and secure new instructions
• Assisting the Group to increase turnover and profit through all proper channels
