National Account Manager – Catering Solutions
REWARDS: £40,000 - £45,000 basic; (£52,000 OTE) + car, phone, laptop, pension
LOCATION: Oxford, Reading, Northampton, Swindon, Milton Keynes, Birmingham

We are a part of a multinational group covering 30 countries and supply to a vast and successful account base.
We distribute into hospitality & catering sectors, and operate form several branches across the UK, along with a head office and a national distribution centre.

Due to expansion, we are seeking to recruit an engaging, driven, tenacious sales person with knowledge of the industry to help to drive the company forward in this exciting role.

The National Account Manager position is a key part of ensuring growth within our company, developing existing national clients and promoting the business.
Reporting to the National Account Controller, this is primarily an account management role. Initially you will be looking after a number of established accounts in either the contract catering, casual dining sector and food retail sector, looking after head office level accounts but also working with the new business team, maintaining contact with the prospect base.
This will involve multi-level contact, following up leads with an aim to maintaining and growing business.
The main point of contact will be with buyers, purchasing directors and head office within the companies.

The ideal sales candidate will be a tenacious, autonomous and industry credible with expert knowledge of the catering product sector.
• Candidates will have experience in national accounts
• Applicants should have experience in selling into the Casual dining, Contract Catering / HORECA /Foodservice / Hospitality and Leisure sectors.
• Experience in catering supplies/disposables/chemicals/janitorial preferred, although strong food wholesale and possibly other industries could be considered.
• Applicants must be highly organised and have the ability to have credibility in front of customers.
